A FanDuel bettor placed a $34 eight-leg parlay months ago predicting exactly when specific NFL playoff teams would get eliminated. Every single leg hit. The payout? $10,303.49.

The Quick Hit

  • What happened: Some beautiful psycho bet on exact elimination rounds for eight teams—and nailed all of them
  • The damage: $34 in → $10,303.49 out (+30,200 odds)
  • Why you should care: This is galaxy-brain degeneracy at its finest
  • The move: Start thinking about next year's elimination parlays now (only half kidding)

The Art of Predicting Failure

While most of us are busy betting on teams to win, this absolute unit took the opposite approach: predict exactly when teams will choke. And they did it months in advance.

The parlay included futures picks on when teams like the Eagles, 49ers, Bills, and Chargers would bow out of the playoffs. Some of these picks looked insane when they were placed. The Eagles were defending champs. The Bills had Josh Allen in MVP form.

But one by one, the dominoes fell exactly as our mysterious prophet predicted.

More Divisional Round Magic

This wasn't even the only wild cash from the weekend. A Fanatics Sportsbook customer dropped $25 on a two-leg first touchdown scorer parlay and turned it into $4,200.

The picks: Patriots wideout DeMario Douglas and Rams running back Kyren Williams to score first in their respective games. Douglas at +16700 was the real sweat—dude needed to beat out an entire offense to find the end zone first.

Douglas punched in a touchdown with 9:35 left in the first quarter. Williams followed suit with a 4-yard run. Just like that, a $25 flier became $4,200.

The Mecole Hardman Special

Saturday's Bills-Broncos game delivered its own first TD scorer madness. Mecole Hardman was sitting at +11000 at DraftKings to score first. One bettor took a $25 shot and applied a 25% profit boost, pushing the odds to +13750.

With seconds left in the first quarter, Hardman hauled in a 4-yard pass from Josh Allen. The $25 became $3,462.

You know what's funny? Allen would later throw four interceptions and the Bills would lose. But our Hardman believer was already counting their money.

The Lesson Here

These stories always make us feel two things simultaneously:

  1. "Holy shit, I could do that"
  2. "There's no way I could do that"

The $34 elimination parlay required predicting playoff outcomes months in advance. That's not luck—that's having a genuinely different way of viewing the NFL landscape. Or it's complete luck. Probably luck.

But the first TD scorer bets? Those are available every week during the season. DeMario Douglas at +16700 means the books thought there was basically a 0.6% chance he'd score first. And yet.

The Bottom Line

The divisional round delivered some of the most chaotic football we've seen in years—from the Bears' historic 18-point comeback to the Seahawks demolishing the 49ers. And these degenerates were right there with tickets in hand.

Next weekend brings the conference championships. The Patriots face the Broncos with Jarrett Stidham under center for Denver. The Rams travel to Seattle for round three. More chaos incoming.

Start getting creative with those prop slips.
