Saturday's Divisional Round slate has something for everyone: a coin-flip game in Denver and a rivalry beatdown brewing in Seattle. Let's break down where the money is moving and where you should be looking.

The Quick Hit

  • Bills at Broncos (4:30 ET): Buffalo -1.5, O/U 45.5 — sharps can't pick a side
  • 49ers at Seahawks (8:00 ET): Seattle -7, O/U 45.5 — Kittle's out, Niners in trouble
  • The story: Both lines have been volatile, but the late move favors Denver and Seattle
  • The move: Consider the Broncos at home and the under in both games

Bills at Broncos: The Great Debate

This game has been a seesaw. It opened at pick'em, moved to Bills -1.5, then flipped to Broncos -1.5, and now it's back to Bills -1 at most shops. The sharps are split, and when that happens, you know something interesting is going on.

Buffalo rolled into the playoffs hot, surviving a close 27-24 game in Jacksonville. Josh Allen did Josh Allen things with 306 yards of total offense and three touchdowns. The Bills have been to the playoffs seven straight years, and many degenerates believe this is finally their year with Mahomes, Burrow, and Lamar all home watching.

But here's the thing—Buffalo is banged up. Allen, Gabe Davis, and Dalton Kincaid are all dealing with injuries, and they're facing one of the league's elite defenses. Denver finished the regular season winning 13 of their final 14 games after starting 1-2.

The number one seed should probably be more than a 1-point favorite at home. That tells you the market respects Buffalo's firepower, but it also creates value on Denver if you believe home-field advantage matters in January.

49ers at Seahawks: The Revenge Game

Seattle opened -6.5 and quickly got bet up to -7.5 before settling at -7. The Seahawks are the NFC's top seed after demolishing the Niners 13-3 in Week 18, and they're riding a seven-game win streak.

The big news: George Kittle is out with an Achilles injury. That's a massive blow for a San Francisco offense that's already struggled to move the ball against this Seattle defense. In two meetings this season, these rivals combined for just 46 total points. Defense travels, but so does offensive dysfunction.

Sam Darnold has been the story of Seattle's season. The Seahawks took a massive gamble trading Geno Smith to Vegas and signing Darnold in free agency. That move looked insane in August and genius now. Seattle won 14 games for the first time in franchise history while the Raiders are picking first overall.

The Niners are 12-6 ATS this year and have historically played Seattle tough, but without their best weapon and facing a defense that's already shut them down twice, seven points feels about right.

The Numbers That Matter

Bills-Broncos:

  • Buffalo: 10-7 ATS this season
  • Denver: 11-6 ATS at home
  • The under is 3-0-1 in the last four Bills playoff games

49ers-Seahawks:

  • These teams averaged 23 combined points in their two regular season meetings
  • Seattle: 12-5 ATS overall, dominant at home
  • San Francisco: 12-6 ATS but just 1-1 against Seattle this year

The Bottom Line

Bills-Broncos is genuinely a pick'em, and anyone who tells you they're confident is lying. The under looks good given Buffalo's injury situation and Denver's defense. I'm leaning Broncos at home simply because a number one seed shouldn't be a home underdog.

Seahawks -7 feels like the right number. Without Kittle, the 49ers don't have the offensive firepower to keep this close. The under has hit in both meetings this year, and I don't see any reason that changes Saturday night.

Whatever you do, don't go crazy with the chalk. These playoff games have been wild—remember what happened to the Lions on Christmas. Variance is king in January.
